Hey. I got a PS4 just to play Bloodborne.

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 05:30 PM PST

A few months ago I posted this. For xmas, my wife bought me a PS4 + Bloodborne....

Hole. E. Shit. Fellas you were right. Thank you all for the input and for helping me find a new love, this game is amazing. Well worth the purchase of an entire console, no question.

Definitely takes some relearning after playing Sekiro for 300+ hours. I keep holding down the square button after killing an enemy thinking I'm collecting loot. And I tried to plunge deathblow a rat in the sewers. FromSoftware's level design is the best in the business IMO, the way everything comes together completely blows my mind. I haven't enjoyed a game this much since.... well shit, since I played Sekiro for the first time.

I got a strong Jack the Ripper vibe during the first few hours of play... I have so many questions but I won't bore you guys (are there illusionary walls like in DS3?), I'll probably be lurking around r/bloodborne a lot though. The last boss I beat was the Blood-starved Beast, and I just got snatched for the first time and ended up in Unseen Village last night. I've got a long way to go but I already know this is one sweet, fucking, game. I absolutely love it.

To anyone wondering if Bloodborne justifies buying a PS4 just to play the game: Hesitation is defeat. Do it. You won't regret it. Plus, you'll have a whole new game library at your fingertips.

Game on my fellow shinobis, game on ✌️

This game’s aesthetics are so good I just had to screenshot one and make a theme. (Don’t mind my other games played, its the result of having to wait for Sekiro for Christmas)

Isshin the Sword Saint wasn’t that hard.

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 11:17 PM PST

I got Sekiro on Christmas day and before that i've heard the final boss (Isshin Sword Saint) difficulty was beyond human comprehension and I would take 2 days minimum to beat him, so naturally I was scared shitless when it was time to face off against him. Maybe I just got lucky but I managed to to beat him in about less than 20 tries. His sword and spear attacks were very readable so deflecting wasn't so hard and his other heavy hitting moves are completely meaningless since you can just run out his attack range to completely avoid it and he's wide open afterwards, then the lighting attack he does in his third phase is basically free vitality and posture damage. Honestly I found demon of hatred and Owl much harder than him. Maybe the game did a good job of preparing me for him. Am I the only one who didn't find him to be ridiculously hard?
