The Lightning Reversal technique seems very similar to what Uncle Iroh teaches Zuko in Avatar.

Tried so hard to get him to play. This is the guy who got me into Souls in the first place. What should I tell him?

Sekiro has the best combat in any game I've played

    Posted: 14 Feb 2020 04:03 PM PST

It's the only game I've never complained about. After playing God of war, nioh and bloodborne, I was constantly raging about how annoying the game was, but even though I probably died over 500 times in sekiro, I never complained. This game has set too high a standard.

About a year and a half ago, I picked up dark souls 1 on the switch. Up until that point, I really only had played league and pokemon. I had no idea the absolute journey I would depart on. I fell in love with the series so much that, upon completing Dark Souls 2, I saved up for a Playstation 4 and bought the next 3 games. Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne were amazing, easily trumping the experiences of DS 1/2. I will admit I was nervous to play this game, as I had heard so much about its brutal difficulty, even though I was fresh off killing Orphan of Kos. I was not expecting to fall in love with the game so much - the combat is buttery smooth and, while I certainly miss the customization of precious games, probably the best in the series. Some of my favorite boss fights in this game were simply swordsman vs swordsman; they felt like true samurai battles, steel against steel. I know a lot of posts like these get made but I just wanted to express how elated I am to have conquered this Soulsborne + Sekiro journey. Elden Ring when?????
