I don't know why I thought getting into Sekiro for the first time would be good during pandemic... But after an insane number of attempts, this feeling is pure satisfaction

Why are the palace nobles so annoying I think I’d rather die to Isshin 30 times over than to be enfeebled once!

Took me a week of dying but I finally beat the Glock Saint. The feeling was not entirely unpleasant.

    Sekiro is truly special.

    Posted: 05 May 2020 02:24 PM PDT

I just wanted to take some time to acknowledge how special Sekiro is. As a game that demands skill and knowledge of the simple tools you have to work with, the feeling of succeeding through its challenges and then returning for NG+ to just roll through the game while still feeling challenged is superb. The animations, the music, the environments and the designs of your enemies just feels so tight. I'm so grateful that I returned to this game after sort of giving up on it last summer. How about you guys? How has your journey through this game made you feel?

Area between Hidden Forest and Mibu Village question

    Posted: 05 May 2020 10:09 PM PDT

Hey all! Maybe this has been talked about before but a quick google search didnt show anything to me. Sorry this is kind of hard to articulate for me so thank you for sticking with me.

So during that very small connecting area between the Hidden Forest and Mibu Village I remember being ambushed by some enemies on a couple earlier playthroughs. It's been months but I think I remember them being Nightjars. But currently on my recent playthrough no enemies ambushed me during this part. I know if you beat the Guardian Ape before doing the Mibu Village section you have to fight two of them during an optional boss fight (still in the Mibu section in the Poison Pool). Is it the same way here, where if you beat the Senpou Temple section before the Mibu Village section you have to fight Nightjars here?

TLDR: I did the Mibu Village path first and didnt have to fight anything between the Hidden Forest/Mibu Vallage transition. Is this because I didnt do Senpou Temple first?

Last night I finished Sekiro, and with it, the entire Souls Series! I am devastated, they were definitely some of the best games I've ever played
