    Im planning on buying Sekiro and wanted to have a normal save file for myself and another one where me and my friends finish it, while memeing the shit out of it.

    Sekiro combat has ruined a lot of games for me

    After playing Sekiro and it being my first FromSoftware and kind of "difficult tier" game I started to search for a new challenge, only to my dismay that Sekiro combat has made me hate all the other games have to offer in terms of combat, every game that I have seen their main forte is just fucking dash/rolling, blocking or deflecting is almost non existent, I dont know I dont want to spend time on a game where they just fucking roll over a thousand times vs a boss lol, I feel like I'm doing this all the time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jL3TG0T5mY

    I'm on my first run ever of the game and have just received frozen tears from the Divine Child to give to Kuro. If I give the tears to Kuro to drink, does this remove the possibility of getting the "normal" ending? I plan on starting a NG+ after this, but am not sure as to which ending is best for first time players

    Also currently, I'm stuck on Owl(Father) in Hirata Estate and just defeated Corrupted Monk in Fountainhead Palace

    Am I screwing myself? Avoiding spoilers

    So I'm going through my first play through and I've picked up the demon bell along the way. Me, being stubborn, refuses to get rid of it. I've fought most of the bosses I've encountered with it, corrupted monk (the first time), genichiro ashina, guardian ape, monkeys, two headless, snake eyes, and some assorted others. I think I've only fought like butterfly and the horse guy without it.

    I'm honestly just wondering if I'm screwing up my trajectory by having it on my first play through. I get that there are multiple endings but I don't know how to change the endings you get or what you have to do for different ones. Should I ditch it now and save the headache for a later play through? Or can I keep bull-heading my way through it

    I can't counter Seven Spears' thrusts

    I'm stuck on Seven Spears, and I keep dying because the Mikiri counter doesn't work. I'm deflecting his regular attacks, jump-kicking over his sweep attacks, but when he does his thrust, I get hit about half the time because the Mikiri counter decided to go on a quick vacation.

    I see the red kanji, I press shift, and then it's a toss-up as to whether or not Wolf is actually going to counter.

    And no, I'm not moving when I do it, and I'm not using Mikiri against sweeps by accident either.

    Update: I DID IT. I cheesed him with the firecracker. You can call it cheating, I call it strategy.

    If I see what's coming, press the corresponding button to counter it, and he dosent respond to the button I press, what's the fuckin point? Jump counter works when it feels like it, block button registers inconsistently, and he dosent use items or attack consistently when I press the buttons for them? I'm the furthest from a pro and I'm sure some of it's my fault but when I press a button and he just stands there for folded steel penetration, it's pretty irritating. Any ideas to sharpen up the experience on Xbox?

    Little Help Please

    So 1st time ever playing the game and I'm totally lost. I've killed corrupt monk? I've went through Mt Kongo, all through Herata Estate and for the life of me, I've no idea what to do. Google says I need to meet the Devine heir in ashina castle but I think I'm missing something. Please help
