I beat the guardian ape, the two apes together, O’rin, the fake corrupt monk, the lone shadow Vilehand, and Owl the great shinobi in one day

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 11:17 PM PDT

I don't know how but I some how beat all of them in like 7-8 hours and it was really fun I think the hardest was probably Owl but it didn't take long for me to figure him out

I'm not going to put all of the clips in because that would take a year to load on my phone and I don't have the clip of me beating O'rin or lone shadow

    Miss you Sekiro

Just revisiting this sub because I miss Sekiro. Bloodborne can burn in hell 😭the game feels so thankless, tedious and dull, comparatively.

    Ghost of Tsushima VS Sekiro

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 05:05 PM PDT

Hey guys, I finished Ghost of Tsushima and placed an order for Sekiro (gonna arrive in a week or so). Wanted to ask you guys if Lethal in GoT is comparable to Sekiro? If not, other than a souls game is there any comparison that I could play and prepare for Sekiro? I've never played a souls game but I'm having so much fun with the ninja/samurai genre right now that I had to get Sekiro. Any tips and tricks for Sekiro for a beginner? Thanks for the help!

    Just beat Isshin Sword saint!!!

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 01:41 PM PDT

What a great fight! Took me so long to just even get over Genichiro!

My first encounter with him in the tower only took me two tries, but in this fight I kept getting myself caught trying to rush through his fight leading to many sloppy deaths. I found the hardest part besides overcoming my own impatience was the arena itself, the tall grass made it difficult to see which perilous he was attempting.

Isshin was a whole different beast. At first, I found his phase 1 to be more difficult than phase 2, but he was generous with easy to predict perilous attacks that allowed me to melt his posture bar. The seeming lack of perilous in phase 2 was my Achilles heal.

Beat down after beat down I put myself in fuck it mode, popped a yashi sugar at the start of phase 2 and beat him down and got to phase 3 for my first, and last time ;) (Lightning reversal made it trivial, and by that point I had him memorized, the fight seemed to move in slow motion)

Phenomenal game, best one I've played this year.

On to the demon of hatred

    Mibu breathing NG+

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 09:12 PM PDT

Yeah that's it. I can't find a solid answer lmao. People are being generic and addressing most key items and most techniques but even the wiki doesn't specify smh. Maybe that should be added tbh. Like at the bottom "transfers over to NG+" would save a lot of my dumb ass questions lmao

No matter how many times you get knocked down, get back up and try again

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 12:10 PM PDT

I used to be a noob in this game.... after defeating the sword saint for the first time, a beast within me awakened and now i kill bosses in one try without even using tools Pick yourself up and fight again. Never give up you can get that platinum.

    Couple new things I learned.

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 07:45 AM PDT

    1. I decided to talk to Hanbei and actually do evey training option. I discovered that if you do all the training options you unlock more advanced exercises like consecutive deflects, sweep counters, and thrust counters. If you complete all these you unlock a free combat mode. Basically hanbei will perform different techniques, thrusts, sweeps, r1 spam, etc., until you kill him. After this hell give u a piece of dialogue about how it hurts him when you attack him. If you answer with Im sorry he'll laugh and tell you to keep going, skeleton.

    2. Phantom nightjar spawn in senpou temple on the other side of the broke bridge where there are two battle monks. I normally never return to that part of senpou after getting the mortal blade so this is kinda cool.

    3. You can see bodies of children tied up all across the temple grounds in senpou temple.

    4. There's a ledge you can drop down to on the left side of the bridge that the snake breaks. If you keep dropping until you reach the water the snake will agro but never break the bridge.
