    Make outfits usable in every playtrough

    Soo i played this when it came out, With my brother on a pc, And as a hardcore fan of the DS series i was trilled by this game, So here i am, Killing my enemies with stealth attacks, counters etc And i see that they have this awesome armor I think: Well maybe there is some skins after the ending right? Hell naw Now, I saw sekiro on a sale, And i remembered that there was an update coming, Giving you not 1 but 3 Outfits to choose post endgame, So i got the game.. I did a lil speedy run and went with the shura ending to get the Ashina Outfit ASAP After doing this, I had to start a ng+ cuz only the divine heir gauntlet was avalible, So i start and well... It wasnt hard but i had some trouble, Even after completing the game i had trouble with snake eyes, owl etc The thing is: I had to complete the game twice to get a gauntlet (Severance) so i can do that (wich is pretty hard) And then another playtrought to get shura gauntlet, AAAND even then i cant use these outfits on a new save Like pls, I have to earn these outfits everytime i want to start over? Pls make the outfits playable in every save after earning them

    i am painfully, excruciatingly aware that sekiro is not a soulsborne game. however, i am a dark souls junker through and through, and coming from those games to this one has been positively killer.

    i love everything about sekiro, honest. the atmosphere, the fluid play-style, character designs, you name it. but the learning curve of coming from dark souls and bloodborne, to this has been extremely steep. i took a two month break from the game and refused to look at my new PS4 out of embarrassment and an odd kind of fear.

    no matter how many times i think i'm beginning to understand how to play this game--how to move/act/think--i get blindsided. i panic, a lot, and i forget what i'm doing. i'm aware that my lack of everything is what is making it so difficult, but i really just need some pointers from someone who won't coddle me, but also won't make me feel bad for being a shitty player.

    TL;DR: are there any tips that you can give me? i understand the function of the prayer beads well enough, but i made my whole way to the second genichiro fight without upgrading any of my shinobi tools. i didn't even know it was an option (though, i kept wondering what the gunpowder was for). as far as upgrades for the prosthetic/shinobi skills go, are there any i should prioritize or look for?

    speaking of the genichiro fight: i've made it to his third phase with the lightning--speaking of, holy shit--and i'm still fuming. i can use my gourd 5 times before i'm running on empty. are there any buffs that you think would be useful? i've been managing well in his first few phases with attacking once, deflecting right after, and then rinsing, washing, and repeating until i have an opportunity to do a mikiri encounter.

    sorry this is so long, i just feel like giving up on this game entirely, and that would be a real shame. thank you for reading this far if you have!

    Im sure this gets posted a bunch, but had some questions. Pretty good at his first form, finally got the mikiri timinig on Shadow Rush, almost always get the dodge and attack on his fire crackers, get attacks in when he does his shuriken charge attack, and I usually dodge Ichimonji late enough he doesnt pull the sideswipe. Biggest problem is fucking up my parries when he goes normal sword attacks when Im up being aggressive

    My question is should I master this form and save all my emblems for form 2? I can usually cut him down pretty quick with mortal draw but then form 2 Im out in the cold. Thoughts? Just keep gittin gud? Im just frustrated because I feel like I KNOW how to beat him then I keep not executing properly.

    Till now the best boss fight. The song + fight + intensity + ending dialogue matched so perfectly it felt like a movie. Damn it feels good. Can't wait for sword saint or the demon of hatred.

    After three hours of trial and error and memorizing the boss movement

    I finally beat genichiro.

    Yes this may not sound like an accomplishment to you but to me this is huge this dude was so hard to beat
