Started Sekiro recently. Made it to the Sunken Valley. Decided to replay some bosses. Posted: 11 Nov 2020 09:41 PM PST I am now convinced that somehow I've bumbled my way through the game rather than actually go any better. The rematches with Lady Butterfly and Genichiro have continued to kick my ass harder than any SoulsBorne boss I ever fought and that includes the freaking Orphan of Kos and Laurence. Like I'm now convinced I just got lucky fighting them or they pitied me. Can anyone give me some help/advice for this game? [link] [comments]

Its so sick how u slowly get completely used to this combat Posted: 11 Nov 2020 02:45 PM PST I just finished my third run and on my first run i was convinced i would never be able to do all 4. I just finished this 3rd run with only having trouble with sword saint, everyone else was super fuckin easy, almost everyone was beaten first try. Anyone having similar experience?? Terror, I hate it but I get it Posted: 11 Nov 2020 07:09 AM PST Everyone hates dying to terror but after looking at some of the attacks, it makes sense. When looking at some of the attacks that build terror I'm surprised Sekiro doesn't run away or get frozen from fear straight away. Lets start with the HEADLESS Guardian Ape that literally breathes in through its neck, puts its head back on (incorrectly, so sometimes its upside down) and screams through it's decapitated head as if it were a woodwind instrument. That is fucking creepy. There's the Shichimen Warrior that fires fucking souls at you. Then we have the 10 foot DEAD True Monk with a giant centipede dancing out of her neck that throws up disgusting puke over you. If none of these sound creepy to you then perhaps you should pursue a career as a shinobi cause you're clearly immune to terror [link] [comments]

Ishiin is now my favorite boss. Posted: 11 Nov 2020 09:14 PM PST I just beat Ishiin the sword saint and my lord does this absolute beast stay true to his name. He is relentless with his attacks, he blocks everything, his posture drops so goddamn fast, he brings out a GLOCK in phase 3 and uses lightning strikes as weapons in phase 4. And yet he is still my favorite boss. I barely took a break with this guy, everytime I died and heard all his "Hesitation is defeat" bullshit I wanted to sprint back in there and rip him a new one. Never before have I been driven by this much sheer will. The lore behind the fight is so cool and the cutscene is unforgettable, and my lord does his final voice line kick ass. these games are some of my favorite experiences in life, and this boss will never leave my mind. Fucky you Ishiin, I should've never given you that monkey booze. [link] [comments]

Posted: 11 Nov 2020 08:19 PM PST Since you can continue upping your attack power, does that mean that bosses will always take relatively the same amount of damage no matter how far into the ng cycle you are? Are gauntlets and reflections of strength affected by ng+? [link] [comments] |
