I just realized that the guys in this room at the Senpo Temple are Ako, Ungo, Yashariku, Gachiin and Gokan.

Sekiro: Ni️️as Die Twice - 【CJ vs Inner Big Smoke】【Charmless】【Demonbell】

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 11:18 PM PST

I'm an idiot, didn't know you could rest between Gauntlet bosses

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 01:42 PM PST

I just came back to Sekiro 2 weeks ago after playing through once on release and getting the Shura ending. I got the other endings this time, and I decide to give Gauntlets a try, which meant for this save file, Severance and Divine Heir.

I thought, Divine Heir wasn't bad, just gotta make sure not to get hit too much on Gyoubu/Lady butterfly to have enough gourd charges and not use that many spirit emblems... Easy enough, 2 of the intro bosses. Genichiro's moveset is pretty easy for me too.

Then Severance. Well shit, Guardian Ape already was making me use all my gourds, but no matter, I'll keep training. Eventually I'm good enough to use only 1 gourd on him, a few on Owl, a few + pellets on Monk , and none on Genichiro since he's a joke.

But still, I'm left with some 1-2 gourd charges and maybe some rice/rice balls for Inner Isshin.

And then I found out you can rest in between bosses from watching Vaati's video.

    Jesus.

    Fucking.

    Christ.

Hours and hours of trying, only to figure this out and beat it on my next attempt. I kept resetting if I died or got hit too much on Ape cause I was trying to save resources for Isshin.

Yeah, so don't be like me.

I made the assumption that you wouldn't be able to since that's part of the "challenge" but nope, fresh start, mostly all of your items available... pretty generous.

Taking advantage of High Monk's versatility against Inner Isshin

Were the mini-bosses supposed to be absolutely broken compared to normal bosses?

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 10:42 PM PST

    Lady butterfly - First try

Genichiro - Second try(most fun I had with this game)

    Glock Saint - Second try(somehow)

Owl Father - 26 tries FIRST try, absolutely first try, trust me....

Then comes some snake eye little bitch and kills me more than 90% of the bosses combined. Then they decide is a good idea to put a mini-boss + one of the hardest mobs together in a small room. And at the end, that second elite guy with the red eyes? FUCK that guy.

How in the bloody hell most mini-bosses with 2 or 3 attacks in their movesets can be more cancerous than the final boss in the game? Is that just me?

My biggest gaming achievement so far. I have been lurking on this sub for quite some time, and I love this game. It took me a year to convince myself to buy it. Those last skill points even on NG+5 were brutal to grind. Very happy to have this one in the books.

    Is the umbrella any good?

Beat the game once without ever using it. I read the description and it just looks like a crutch for people struggling with deflecting

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 08:19 PM PST

I've made it to Senpou Temple, Mt. Congo and I dont know where to go. I've heard you have to fight someone called lady butterfly or something but I haven't seen her. Is there some other way I should be going then come back here later? I'm stuck and I can't find anything online to help me out

    No charm + demon bell

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 07:22 PM PST

Was worried about everyone saying that NG+ was pretty easy, so I committed to a no charm + demon bell run. Couldn't be happier. I'm about half way this run, and it feels just as hard as my first playthrough. Very challenging, very satisfying.

    Accidentally killed Kotaro

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 11:01 PM PST

I had sent Kotaro to Anayama earlier on. I managed to accidentally kill him while I was messing around with the prosthetics near Anayama's "shop" and forgot that the wind prosthetic kills him instantly. Will I still be able to purchase the promissory note from Anayama at the end of the game?

I just finished sekiro, and I feel empty...

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 10:49 AM PST

So sekiro was my first souls-like game, and I finished, and I feel like a husk, the only games that had a similar effect on me are the witcher 3 and rdr2. So I wanted to ask you guys, should I start a NG+, or should I play other games by from software? Btw, i wanted to ask, is bloodborne ever coming to PC, cause is one of the games I've always wanted to play, but I can't because I play on PC

How to face Miste Noble again, even though u killed him

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 10:36 AM PST

As we all know, in 1.05 the reflection mode was added, with it containing all the bosses in the game. However, one of them was removed, for obvious reasons. It is impossible to face Mist Noble after killing him, which is very sad, as you would need to have another save to have the feeling of killing him after several attempts! However, there is a way to face him again without creating another save. Let's first understand how this is possible.

The reflection mode allows you to kill any boss, taking you to his area. An interesting feature is that the map of the entire game is loaded to face that boss, so theoretically, if you can get out of that boss's area you would be able to access other parts of the game, like a time travel, but this is also in theory impossible to do, since the game blocks you from leaving the boss's area ... but not quite.

There is a specific way to leave the area of two bosses of the game, yes, I am talking about the gate of the castle of ashina, where you face Gyobu and later the Demon of Hatred. Most should already know, but for those who do not know it is Horse Skip, a way to jump the boss without necessarily killing him (although you can make him jump into the abyss). That said, I'll explain how it works:

    The Horse Skip

First Step: Battle against Gyobu in reflection mode, and then run to a fire next to where Gyobu activates, after that walk normally towards a wooden tower in a straight line.
Second Step: Gyobu is going to get stuck, and that's not a problem: You don't have to kill him. After that go up the tower, run and jump to the gate wall. This can be a little tricky at first, so it's best to search the internet for a detailed tutorial.

Third Step: After going through the gate, go to the place where you would face the flaming bull. You will notice that the gate will be closed, and it would be impossible to get through.

However, there is a way to get through that part. Yes, I'm talking about Bull Skip. This Skip is a bit complicated, but with a little training you can do it. I recommend you to see tutorials on youtube, but I will try to summarize:
    The Bull Skip
First Step: Go up to the roof of the house on the right
Second Step: You will jump from that house to a specific branch, and then jump while turning to the right. If all goes well, you will be on the bull's wall. Just follow him, and go to Ashina Castle.
That done, you will arrive at Ashina castle, which will be a relatively buggy area, but it is not our focus. Now you can proceed normally to the Ashina reservoir. There you will notice that enemies will start to spawn, including some semi bosses that you have already killed! An interesting fact is that you can open the door to the Isshin area and see a very beautiful area. But now let's get to the point, how to kill Miste Noble?

It's simple, you need to follow the path you would normally take to the depths of ashina. The well will be locked, so you will need to jump out of the hole ahead. Ignore the lone shadow, and proceed to the depths of Ashina. It is more difficult to hit the hook than usual in this area, so you will need a little luck. After that, go to the hole where you face Headless Ape and have a little surprise. Then you go to Hidden Forest, and follow the path normally to Mist Noble. For some reason, it is not possible to touch the wall, so you will need to use the hook directly to the branch. That done, go to the place where you face Mist Noble, and have fun trying to kill him and dying miserably.

Is it just me or are the prosthetic tools not that useful?

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 05:47 PM PST

I'm on my first play through. I just got to the Drunken boss, but haven't beat him yet. So far, I have obtained the shuriken launcher, the flame thrower, the axe, and the firecrackers. And, at least from what I've seen, they aren't that good. The most useful so far has been the axe, as it can break shields and the hats of those rat things. Do they get more useful? Do I need to upgrade them? Or are there tools that I don't have that are better?

    Senpou's founder/Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Self Mummification Card

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 09:30 PM PST

    Senpou's founder/Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Self Mummification Card

I noticed the Senpou's high priest (the one who secluded himself away under the five-story pagoda) wears very similar colours to the Self-Mummification card from Yu-Gi-Oh! I googled out some articles and stuff about the real life practice, and though often the mummies do wear those Buddhist ceremonial attires, I could not find any pictures or depictions with those specific colours. To someone more knowledgeable than me: is that a thing? Could it be a reference, or maybe just a coincidence?

What exactly do suppress presence and suppress sound do?

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 09:20 PM PST

I'm pretty sure they are for stealth but I don't know exactly what they do. Do they make it so enemies take longer to detect you or do they make make it so enemies are less likely to detect you? I'm on my fourth play through but it's been bothering me.

Why is it always nighttime in Ashina Depths ?

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 03:01 PM PST

Why is it always nighttime in Ashina Depths even though when you are in the morning or noon phase of the game ? Is it because Mibu Village is cursed or something ? Thanks
