    What exactly does "Ichimonji" mean?

    Posted: 31 Dec 2020 09:45 PM PST

My favorite attack is Mortal Draw, but Ichimonji just sounds so cool. Maybe a long shot, but was wondering if anybody here might know the specific meaning behind it?

This game is so weird, it’s because of the community

    Posted: 31 Dec 2020 02:17 PM PST

The reason the game is weird, is if you follow along this sub at all, and read common posts, you'll find enemies that people typically find very difficult.

It's polarizing because for some, it's the hardest thing ever, and for others it's a piece of cake.

I killed Seven Ashina Spears (Shikibu) on my first try, getting hit maybe once or twice. Afterwards I scratched my head after seeing countless posts on here about how he's the one of the most difficult fights in the game.

I killed off both chained ogres first try, no problem.

At the same time, the first shinobi hunter crushed my soul a dozen times.

    Guardian/Headless ape? No problem.

Certain nameless enemies? Still hand me my own ass.

    Owl? Third try.

The shichimen warriors? Fuck me up easily if I don't prepare, etc etc.

The game is so subjective in terms of difficulty. It's crazy.

    What makes this game difficult

    Posted: 31 Dec 2020 11:22 PM PST

I just got the game on ps4 for the holiday sale and the only thing that seems mildly tough is the party system but it's simple enough after a few tries. I've played darksouls 3 and 2 along with bloodbourne so I've gathered that there are differences. For example I really like the traversal capabilities of the grapple and do I was wondering what you guys found to be difficult?

First playthrough, I though it was over, so I just stood still. I wasn’t ready for phase 2 to start and got killed 10 seconds later...
