    Didn’t feel right

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 08:07 PM PST

I really wanted to let this of my chest. So the Genichiro fight (second one) took me about 20ish tries and I had a save file backed up, in case of dragonrot. I finally beat him but it didn't feel right, it felt like I got lucky and I didn't beat him because to my skill. So i downloaded my backup save file from the psn cloud and fought him again. I beat him on my first attempt with 3 healing gourd left. THE BEST FEELING EVER.

SPOILERS. So I took a little break from video games to do some studying. Decided I’d try and fight Owl tonight. It only took me about 30 minutes. It’s clicking. I love this game.

I finally beat the true monk and now am at fountainhead. It looks amazing. It's like the game is rewarding me for getting my ass kicked.

    Sword Saint Difficulty...

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 08:52 PM PST

Just my two cents after arriving to him yesterday.

After many tries, I actually find Genichiro to be the most annoying part of the fight. The following phases are actually 'forgiving' in their windups, but not so in the damage they do. Even the second phase of Sword Saint isn't completely awful. Haven't reached the last bit... but I'll see it through!

    Sekiro Beginner

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 08:02 PM PST

I really don't understand this game at all. I'm at the beginning-ish of the game and I have two options really. I have to either fight the drunken boss in the memory or the red-eyed 'mini-boss' (?) . I have tried both of these guys multiple times and it just feels like they have WAY too much health. Is Sekrio meant to feel like you're underleveled in every area you go to? I don't have problem's with the regular enemies, but these guys are just too much.
