    Hi All,

    I was hoping for some pointers on father owl. He is straight up whooping my butt. I haven't had this much trouble with a boss since the nameless king in DS3.

    I have tried various strategies on YouTube such as keeping distance between him to force long distance attacks or playing aggressive with divine confetti and akos sugar and mortal draw/Ichimonji. I have also tried attacking, deflecting and counterattacking with limited success.

    My best outcome so far has been getting him to about 10% health in phase one. I did this by using mortal draw and buffs. I can reliably get his health down to 50% in phase one but, end up dying or using up all of my spirit emblems.

    I think that the attack that gives me the most trouble is his horizontal slash. I can never seem to dodge/block/jump over this reliably.

    Is there any skills that I should have that would make this easier? I have 3 free skill points to assign. I was thinking of putting it in Ichimonji double or flowing water. I am also open to farming skills but, don't want to go down that route if I don't have to.

    Save me reddit you are my only hope!

    Kuro is sleeping?

    Shortly after receiving the Rice for Kuro from the Divine Child, I returned to Upper Tower and found Kuro asleep in the centre of the room. I've never seen this in any of my other playthroughs.

    Anyone know what triggers this? Did I do something differently this time or is it just random? As far as I know, I've repeated pretty much exactly the same steps as in all my other playthroughs...

    Mindblowing facts you can think of about the game? (Spoilers)

    I can only think about a few of them. Some that I remember right now:

    -Upon defeating Owl at the top of the Ashina castle it is said we have defeated a shadow. Shinobi are described as shadows for obvious reasons. But the memory of Owl and it's presence in Wolf's life hasn't quite dissappeared, not until he confronts his own memories and defeats the memory of Owl again. To defeat Owl we're literally required to kill a shadow twice, reinforcing the ideas of the game of cycles and legacies.

    -We fight the Demon of Hatred in the gates that lead towards the Ashina castle and in this very same area we previously had to fight Gyoubu Oniwa, a demon. Similary, we find Issin disguised as his secret identity, "Tengu", Japanese symbols and demons or harbingers of war. Three demons, although only the last one is "real".

    -One of the many reasons people are screwed in the Shura ending is, well, putting aside the fact that Sekiro has become unstoppable, the only way to end his inmortality is by using the Mortal Blade against him...impossible as he's the one wielding it.
