Posted: 18 Apr 2020 08:15 PM PDT Yesterday I made a post on here saying that Sekiro NEEDED Co-op and that I felt stuck at Gyoubo Oniwa. Some of you responded kindly explaining why that would not work, some of you were less delicate; but all of you said the same thing: Sekiro's combat is vastly different from that of Soulsborne, and not only would co-op not work, but if I didn't feel like I could progress without it, maybe this was not the game for me. That post has been deleted, by me. I felt I got the message, and I didn't need more people telling me to git gud. After I deleted it, I went back to the dilapidated temple and started training. And today, after training for multiple hours, I went back to Gyoubo Oniwa, and after reading some guides, I absolutely slaughtered him. This is beyond exciting. I am trembling in the best possible way, and I am positive I would not be feeling like this if I had gotten help from someone else. So to all the people who tried to help yesterday, friendly and not so friendly, I thank you. You were right, and I so much happier for it. [link] [comments]

I Bought Sekiro When It Came Out And Hated It... I Beat The Game Today Posted: 18 Apr 2020 09:41 PM PDT Obviously spoilers. Like the title says I bought Sekiro when it came out and I got my ass kicked by everything, from Juzou to the Shinobi Hunter, I made it past the Chained Ogre but then the general just past him kept killing me to the point that I said this game wasn't for me, felt like I wasted my money. Three different mini bosses and I couldn't come close to beating any of them. This is coming from someone who loved the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne. Fast forward to this year and I saw it in my library. Downloaded it again and gave it another shot. Gotta say, the combat system is waaaay better and more satisfying than dark souls or Bloodborne (at least in my opinion) once things clicked for me. I came in determined and finished the Hirata Estate first, lady butterfly was a bitch and a half and was my first real wall in the game. But after many many hours of attempts I finally beat her and came back with a new level of confidence and skill. That general just past the chained ogre? Killed him on my first attempt and it felt so good to get my revenge that way. Even Genichiro wasn't too tough, I had explored and gotten beads/memories, he only took me maybe 4 or 5 tries. The next wall I hit was the Owl. Holy hell, he took me at least a day to finally beat. Then I made it back to the Hirata estate only to discover I had to FIGHT HIM AGAIN. The second time he took FOREVER to beat. But Jesus no souls boss has ever given me so much satisfaction once I finally overcame them. I'm pretty sure I pissed off my neighbors with my loud shouts of victory when I finally killed owl the second time. Demon of Hatred didn't give me too much trouble. He was like a Bloodborne boss, just required patience. The final wall was Isshin. That dude took me two full days to finally get his different move sets down. Still, I felt like the second Owl was the toughest fight for me. Overall Sekiro was fantastic, I'm glad I gave it a second chance. [link] [comments]

Sekiro Beginner Spoiler Free Guide Posted: 18 Apr 2020 08:04 PM PDT Guys I made this Sekiro Beginner Guide because of my own frustration with the information that was online at the time. Most of the content had spoilers in it or was overshare in some form and those that didn't had visual spoilers, showing bosses and environments that were better left unseen. So I made this shortly after my own experience and tried my best to make it informative and practical with minimum spoilers and tactics that what would essentially cheese the game. I'd really like others feedback on this. [link] [comments]

Posted: 18 Apr 2020 06:33 PM PDT Doing a base vitality, attack power 1, charmless run. Accidentally killed the samurai helper and now he won't respawn. This shit is a fucking nightmare. Even worse when running low on spirit emblems. Can't imagine how people do this shit with no prosthetics or nin-jutsus. Edit: I FUCKING DID IT! [link] [comments]

Posted: 18 Apr 2020 04:27 PM PDT Ok so im doing the return ending and i have already obtained the frozen tears. I didnt go to the palace at all yet. I know that its probably fine but i just want to be 100% clear on this beacause i dont want to mess this up. After i have the frozen tears i progress through the game until i kill the divine dragon and get the dragon tears. And from there i go fight swordsaint isshin and i get the ending. Am i right? Or do i need something else or do i need to give the frozen tears to kuro somehow? [link] [comments]

What can I do before fighting the final boss? Posted: 18 Apr 2020 03:18 PM PDT I've gotten to the final boss, but I've realized there is a crapton of stuff left to do, and probably more stuff I don't even know about. I've found and will fight Blazing Manus- I mean The Demon of Hatred, killed all but Gokan's headless, dont know where that one is, killed three Shichimen warriors, got two parts of the dragon dancer mask, poisoned the Great Shitty Red Carp, no idea how many prayer beads and gourd seeds there are left, will grind intensely for a bunch of skills and prosthetic upgrades, what else can I do?
