How to Relax in Sekiro: ASMR Item Descriptions [video link in comments]

I usually don't care about trophies, but this game.... it had never happened to me before to play 7 runs in a row and at the end of these, once finally brought home the platinum, still being hungry....

    My Progress

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 10:38 PM PDT

Since my last post yesterday, I've gotten very far through the game imo. I've gotten all the way to the second Genichiro fight(but it's the first one where you're supposed to defeat him), and broke a controller fighting the elite Ashina😂. I just went and cleared both bosses at Senpou Temple and gotten the senpou esoteric text. However, I'm still having trouble with the Lone Shadow Longswordsman and the Seven Spears Ashina dude. I know I can death blow their first healthbar, but after that, I cant seem to get anywhere. I cant build their posture fast enough or lower their vitality low enough to slow the posture. Any tips or tricks for them?

    Love with a Boss

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 10:04 PM PDT

So recently I had just finished Sekiro: Shadows die twice for the first time and well, their is so much to say. It was my first game of this genre and usually I suck with bosses, with the overwhelming pressure from them weather it be lore, damage, or overall meaning behind the fight. Now for the most part I sucked mainly with Lady butterfly but I saw myself as above average up until Glock saint. You know the guy that'll kill you a million times over and tell you about how hesitation is defeat. He was my hardest roadblock, so much so that I got disappointed at myself and decided to do a whole new game and start over. Now with this new run and finally getting back to him (which I still struggled up until around my 5th run) I finally let go. I let go of this fear of the pressure, of failing the fight, of making a mistake. Eventually at about my 7th run I won. After defeating him it felt very satisfactory as the boss is a true testament to if you learned the game, if you learned the mechanics and well if you learned how to glock block. However on my new game + run I just felt this strange feeling of, fatigue of longing for that boss fight once more. He was such a challenging figure in many aspects but I just loved every absolute second of it. He was a always thrilling and got every note perfectly hit for me, despite the craziness of some of the things he pulled, I just couldn't help but be in awe of the fight, despite dying many times on both runs. I hope I'm not the only one with this sort of feeling to a boss and really would like to hear your's. After all I am thinking about maybe playing Bloodborne or Dark souls though I'm still very new to this genre of game.

Does this game punish me for dying?

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 11:13 PM PDT

I'm at one of the first bosses, the Chained Ogre that you're supposed to use fire on. He's killed me a dozen times, just when I realized that I can use oil to really hit it home I realize that my 15 spirit emblems is now reduced to two and I need 3 to use my fire skill

Some of my other items are reduced also.

    What gives?

New to playing games, just played Sekiro.

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 10:50 PM PDT

God, I am completely new to playing games, I purchased Sekiro, only when for honor had problems launching in my PC. If for honor had worked, I wouldn't have purchased Sekiro. I am thankful that didn't work on my PC.

This game is just a masterpiece, too glad that I somehow ended up playing it. and also do you guys play any other games to keep you distracted while stuck clearing up a boss, do let me know, please.

    I feel guilty (Spoiler)

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 08:16 PM PDT

Okay so it's my first time playing this game. Took a lot of patience but I managed to actually geniunely enjoy it... UNTIL I DECIDED TO BE A GOOD BOI AND OBEY THE IRON CODE. I am now in pain on a whole different level, and cannot force myself to go any further (and kill Emma :,) ) Should i start over or get the bad ending and proceed with ng+? Tbh this is the first game that actually made me feel BAD and dissapointed in myself for my moral decisions lmao. It's amazing and disturbing at the same time
