Taking a break is a helpful skill

    Posted: 22 May 2020 05:02 PM PDT

Whenever I get stuck on a boss, I would just take a quick break for a few hours. When I come back I'm then able to defeat the boss in only a few tries. Some even on my first. Anyone else the same?

Is anybody hoping Elden Ring will implement Sekiro's posture system in some way? Not base the whole combat around it but combine it with traditional Dark Souls style combat.

Just discovered a crazy lady butterfly weakness

    Posted: 22 May 2020 11:23 PM PDT

Not sure if this is known, and I guess needs actual testing but I just absolutely wrecked her (in ng but with no charm and the bell rung) with an infinite combo/stun lock kinda thing.

Dodge+counter attack basically locks her down. 2-3 r1s and then dodge left or right and R1 again. The dodge+r1 will hit her right before she leaves the ground if she leaps, and if she tries to kick you after a couple attacks you dodge her and the dodge attack takes some health from her. Every once in a while shell get airborne and you shuriken her.

I was able to keep her locked in this combo in phase 2 until she had time to summon phantoms once, I waited them out, locked her in again, done.

It was so effective I couldn't even believe it was happening I just kinda did it once or twice and kept going haha.

Try it out, it felt borderline cheese, but it's not like getting her stuck or having her fall level cheese. It's just an fkin spank

I think it is okay to walk away from a game.

    Posted: 22 May 2020 11:22 PM PDT

I think I have met my match I can not beat isshin the sword saint at all. I am stuck on him, I can best him in his first phase but his second phase is broken you can not knock him out of some of his attacks at all. I have beaten all of the org 13 members in kingdom hearts 3 on critical mode but this this is the most broken fight I have ever had to deal with I don't know what to do. I wanted to beat the game and just play nioh but now I just want to play nioh and walk away from this mess
