    I just got to the fight with Genchiro in the tower. I haven't been able to get passed his second life bar but man does his fight make me happy. Even though he whoops me pretty good it's almost like fighting Genchiro has made the game click to me. I suddenly feel like the rhythm of the game is just clear. The deflects, the counters and even his unblockables feel fluid.

    I recently picked it up again (about 2 weeks ago) after over a year and thought I should talk about it now. Not including my first playthrough that I quit half way through, I'm now on my third playthrough of the game. I love everything about it, the swordplay is weighted but really fun, rewarding and intricate. The bosses edge on the line of really difficult and fun without sacrificing either. My only complaint about the game is that there isn't more of it, I'm going for the platinum and so far it's going really well.

    I just thought I should make this to express my love for the game

    Finally got the Platinum trophy after a year of on and off playing. Took a break after beating it the first time and another when I was stuck at the shura ending boss. Now that I'm done I'm going to try to get into bloodborne again (Only made it to the second boss). It's gonna be hard forgetting the muscle memory of this amazing game.

    I got this game for my birthday. My wife knows I love anything feudal japan. Never did like any of the dark souls games, but boy have I fell in love with this game. It's difficult bu not unforgiving really takes the " get gud" to heart without banging you head against the wall. Wish I would have bought it sooner.
