PSA/Call to Action: Ghost after killing guardian ape

    Posted: 21 Oct 2020 01:50 PM PDT

Hey guys, I think I may have made an interesting discovery, as I haven't seen anything said about this event after I looked it up. I'm on ng+4 right now, and I just killed the guardian ape. I acquired the mortal blade and the shelter stone before I did it, and then I rested at the idol. I was going to pick up the lotus, but I didn't, just to double check I did all the eavesdrops for the purification ending. As soon as I walked back out of the cave, I saw something pretty strange. I don't know what it is, but by some of the fallen trees in the water there's what appears to be a ghost or apparition. (I'm not talking about the shichemen that shows up after the area is reset, I haven't left.) It disappears after about 2 seconds, and the trigger to get it to appear seems to be walking out of the cave with the lotus in it. I don't know if picking it up stops this from occurring, but I'm just covering all my bases in case somebody wants to try and replicate it. Unfortunately, I play on console so I don't have any way of getting a good picture of it, but there's a boatload of lore surrounding the apes and kingfisher, so this may be something a little significant if anyone can figure out what it is. Edit: got a video. It's poor quality but this should be all a shinobi needs for a lead. Ghost

Can't recommend the guide book enough, one of the most comprehensive guides I've seen. Haven't read the manga yet but if Sekiro's story is anything to go by, should be a great read!

you have given me twitches and make me want to blow my brains out. Thank you for giving me a possible world record for fastest dragon rot buildup as I can barely last more than 5 seconds. Thank you for letting me get past the second phase only to stretch my clenched asshole to the limit.
