Never thought I’d love a game more than Bloodborne, but damn was the guardian ape a great boss fight. Still shaking. I love this game and I’m a fool for not picking it up sooner

Tired of Grinding Akos Sugar or Using Spiritfall?

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 09:21 PM PST

If you upgrade Hanayam the Peddler to the max, he will sell an infinite amount of Akos Sugar. This is a good thing to know if you don't have Spiritfall or don't have the time to grind for sugars in Senpou temple.

First time finishing a souls game.

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 11:14 PM PST

Oh man... I've finished Sekiro right now, and I must say... I feel great! It took me several hours to beat the last boss, but I'm more happy than I can say. It was my first souls game and now I'm considering to play all the other ones! Maybe starting with Dark Souls 1 or Bloodborne! That is the post :)

First gauntlet down, wow what a feeling

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 03:33 PM PST

It seemed like every attempt I made, the bosses acted weirder and weirder. Well I think it paid off because in that last attempt I was more cool, calm, and collected than before by far. Great feature in this game, I have to say.

    I finally beat sekiro....

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 06:35 PM PST

What a fucking game... That is up there with some of the best.. The demon of hatred and the final boss (don't want to spoil it) are literally some of the best bosses I've ever faced... I've played and beaten ds1, 2 and 3 and sekiro is waaaaaay better than any of them imo... Quality game

Just beat Isshin and god damn was it good

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 07:39 PM PST

Just beat Isshin and holy shit I love it. The fight feels so high stakes but learnable and to me is the second best boss fight besides owl. Still not as hard as guardian ape but still super fun. Anyway just wanted to share my achievement.

Which Female Boss Was the Most Difficult

[UK] Why is the physical version of this game so hard to find?

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 12:25 AM PST

I recently finished Bloodborne, then DeS Remake and stumbled across Sekiro which I noticed has had a PS5 boost, but nowhere seems to sell it? Was it not a popular game or something? I can get it on PSN but I'd prefer physical in case it makes me cry and I need to sell/burn it.

    A shinobi begins his quest

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 02:23 PM PST

So I just bought Sekiro last night and have only played for a couple hours but so far my reaction is... holy shit! Just holy shit! The mechanics so far are really cool and the design and graphics are awesome but wow its difficult and I have just one complaint, dragon rot. We already lose level progress and Sen when we die, why must we be punished further!

My first timw playing the update

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 11:35 PM PST

I wasn't able to play sekiro after the release of the update and then i forgot about it, but now i started playing again. I hoped on my charmless demon bell ng+7 pre Isshin save and wanted to try one of the goauntlet of strenths. I did the divine heir one. First fight gyoubu was not really a problem, second lady butterfly too but then inner genichiro... He started by one hitting me with his special spin attack. After resurection he did it again. I decided that I should train him on a lower ng+ cycle. I switched to ng+2 (I think) then I got bsck to him. His special attack got me a few times but i survived on his third phase i was minding my on buisnes doing a lightning reversal and geni just does a lightnign reversal reversal I doged out of the way but I loved it. Then he does it again but I am am ready for the reversal x 3. I'm loving it!

    Trophy advice.

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 03:29 PM PST

I'm planning to go for the platinum trophy and seeking advice on the most efficient route to it.

For background on my current most advanced save(went for the return ending and collected the majority of trophies on NG) I have every trophy except all skills, all prosthetic upgrades, father owl (2nd Hirata estate) as the last trophy boss, max vigour/posture and both Purification & Immortal Severance endings.

    Here's were things get interesting;

    • I don't have one mind on this save, it's the only missing skill.

    • I need 4 lapis, 6 grave wax and 4 fulminated mercury for the remaining upgrades.

    • I am only missing the 2 prayer beads from the 2nd version of Hirata for max vigour.

    • I'm familiar with save-scumming but I don't know what application it would have to the current situation.

    My understanding of the situation is as follows;

    • I can't get one mind and still access the most efficient skill point farming location (ashina outskirts upon fountainhead return) in this same game cycle.

    • If I want to get max prosthetic upgrades AND get to the farming locations I need to go all the way to fountainhead anyway, which I also need to do for the 2 remaining endings.

Hence, I've come to the conclusion i should take the Shura ending for the remaining skill then jump straight into NG+2 for the rest of the trophies.

Does that sound like the most correct/efficient way to go about it?

If not, I'd very much appreciate advice on the matters.

TIA and sorry for the edit, I'm on mobile.
