Has anyone heard of the Kingfisher's cries in the sunken valley as told in this prosthetic description? I tried searching but failed.

The flashbacks are real with this one.

Oh my god! This has been my first total playthrough without tyrannicon. And holy hell, owl (father is such an ass)!

But I finally beat him, no cheese, and wow, I'm pretty sure my neighbors three blocks away heard me. That was so awesome. God damn is he hard!

171 hours of nothing but death, deflection and pure absolute fun, Sekiro’s combat style is by far my favourite in any game I’ve ever played and I can’t wait to finally beat Isshin, this is my first Playthrough and I’m more than exited to come back for 3 more.

    Gotta love Sekiro

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 06:34 AM PST

I just realized something about how Sekiro uses the Gourd.

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 06:51 PM PST

He doesn't use his hand to hold it.

He uses a string,(I think) attached to his left arm and to the Gourd as well.

Don't know why this is important, but I noticed this just now. Don't know the significance of it, but I just want to share it. Sorry.

Sekiro Has Really Grown On Me

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 04:47 PM PST

When I first bought this game about a year and a half ago it defied all of my expectations negatively. It was much too relentless, unforgiving and difficult for me. But to get my money's worth, I trudged through the unwelcoming environment joylessly dying and cheesing along the way. It was a love/hate relationship. I loved the art design, characters, and general flow of mechanics. I hated that it wasn't Bloodborne. Regardless, the show had to go on. Genichiro was the first 'Great Wall' of an obstacle to overcome, and after about 75 attempts, I finally did. Hours upon hours of agony for mere seconds of ecstacy; I suppose that was worth it. Nothing, however, could prepare me for the shit show hosted by Isshin the Sword Saint. Let's just say I had to reinstall the game on a few occasions. Then the magic began after hopeless months. I did it! I finally did it! I served that whopper wit cheese😈

    Welcome to NG+

For anyone out there struggling through similar circumstances and on the verge of tears, don't give up! I promise that if you can bare the pain, it gets way better. New game plus has been quite the ride so far. I've discovered new places, story elements, characters, upgrades, you name it. Fromsoft has once again won me over.

It's just so fucking good. The rush I get after that double deathblow goodness on a boss I've been fighting for forever is unmatched. What do you love about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice?

Anyone else notice how insane some of the achievement percentages are. Only 38.1% made it past the true corrupted monk

    FPS drops

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 06:24 PM PST

I just recently bought this game and it runs silky smooth for the most part, but in certain areas I lose 10 to 15 frames (especially on the rooftops of Ashina)

    I have a gtx 1080 & AMD Ryzen 7

What is the point of Sekiro’s Thrust attack?

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 11:53 PM PST

I personally never use it, and it seems to be blocked pretty easily.

I don't really understand why anybody would want to perform a thrust instead of a Slash or a combat art.

The reason I'm making this post really is because of it has some amazing combat potential I've stupidly not realised it would be incredible to know.

    Third Playthrough

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 08:05 PM PST

Finished Shura tonight (Emma and Isshin were a joy) and started my third playthrough. Made it all the way to Guardian Ape before I finally died for the first time. Pretty proud of my progress!

"more than owl could ever have hoped to be" lol this message straight up dissing owl. Inner father was truly the biggest adversary in this game.
