    The Ashina Really Existed

    I was watching the Netflix show Age of The Samurai when I found out that the Ashina were a real clan! They were considered to be a very powerful clan during the Sengoku era, but were over run by the Date clan (led by Date Masamune) who saw an opportunity after the Ashina fell due to infighting. Ashina Isshin, and his orphaned grandson Ashina Genichiro, both died in the same year (1862) as their clan collapsed. Sounds familiar? The events of the game not only don't contradict the events of history, but in fact fall in line with what happened. Holding out hope for the discovery of a giant snake or a portal to the Devine realm sometime soon.

    Stuck at Shinobi Owl - can't even get the first deathblow

    Hello,

    I tried Shinobi Owl for like 2 hours and decided to take a break. I really don't know how to defeat him, I'm not really even close to get down his first healthbar.

    I can deflect most of his stuff, but my posture meter goes up so quickly (I'm at 16 Vit and 8 Attack Power rn) and when he has his few rare openings (aka the anti heal bomb and his jump and dive attack) I can only land around two hits on him. I tried out the cheese guide from Sekiro Guru but apparently it got patched and his attacks / charges are now way more faster and accurate.

    Returning player here, I have some questions concerning what I should farm or items to look for before I go into NG+ as I’ve decided to do the Shura ending this time around. Kinda forgot what to look for.

    So, as the title of the post has said I've decided to go for the Shura ending instead of the Return ending. I played this game a couple months after it's release and I went for the Purification ending but it's been a while and I lost the save file on my PC so I started fresh again but I wanna fight Emma and Isshin right away because I've never done so (also I'm getting really familiar with the game and kinda want a lil NG+ challenge)

    I've just received the water breathing technique, is there any stuff I can look for before I keep loyalty to Owl?

    Most of the tips I find online are mostly general stuff that requires post fountainhead palace items but nothing for Shura ending. I'd rather just save endgame content for NG+ so it doesn't matter to me, I just wanna make the early game slog more of a breeze so I can get back to this point by tonight.

    Its taken me three days, but I finally got the first deathblow on Isshin, Sword Saint. I love that I can see my progression with the bosses.

    This game is tougher than any other I've done. But I feel really great figuring these bosses out. I won't let them defeat me.

    Edit: just faced him again and didn't make it to the second phase. I love it.

    Explain this about the double apes

    Genishiro -- 3 days, 153 attempts to kill

    Guardian Ape -- 2 days, 71 attempts

    Double Apes -- 6 minutes, 1 attempt

    This math does not compute for me. Why is the double ape combat so much easier than the Guardian Ape one? The only thing I can figure is that there didn't seem to be any grab attempts, and those just destroyed me time and again in the Guardian Ape fight.

    So far the Double Apes and the Drunk are the only 2 boss/mini-boss fights I've succeeded on the first attempt. Even the "easy" mini-bosses have all taken multiple tries for me.

    Any way to revert the choice made to forsake or uphold the iron code?

    I sided with kuro and decided to take on owl but now I'm kinda regretting it and just want to get the shura ending so I can at least put this game under my beat belt cuz theres no way in hell I'm going to bother with the rest of fountainhead and especially sword saint isshin. Is there anyway to revert that choice? I doubt it since talking to owl automatically starts the fight but idk maybe I'm missing something
