    I finally fucking beat the guardian ape after many many attempts. I watched 3 cheese videos and became super impatient and kept dying even more. Fightincowboy's video was super helpful, but what ultimately led me to beat him was watching a no damage video where all of the guardian ape's attacks were parried. I didn't know you could do that and just kept trying to parry his attacks after that. The umbrella helped during the scream as I suck at hand eye coordination and shit cameras while running It suddenly all clicked and I am filled with adrenaline. I was literally going to stop playing. Please tell me this was ds1's ornstein and smough "a-ha" moment despite there only being 1 monkey. I am so fucking happy.

    I have found that whirlwind slash works great. Of course sometimes he will still get you, but it seems to do pretty great!

    Could someone explain to me why Emma tells Wolf that his “brow looks less furrowed than before”? I always thought it was kinda weird.

    I'm on my second playthrough and can't get this out of my head.

    It just seems really weird that he'd be slightly happy that he's helping Kuro? Is it because he's back to his rightful duty as a Shinobi? I mean, he's not necessarily going through the nicest adventure in the game as a lot of the things he sees are beyond f*cked up and he's kinda going against the code while he's doing it. Just wondering as it's one of the only few things I never really understood.

    How do i defeat genichiro the second time atop ashina castle

    I know the speedrun strat, and can quickly finish genichiro and his way of tomoe off under 3 minutes, but how do i normally fight him?

    His posture regains quite quickly, so i try to dodge his attacks instead of deflect them, to try and find an opening to lower his health(coz the posture regains slowly at lower health) but i just cant dodge them. All i can do is deflect then go on extreme offense, but its no use.

    I want to actually fight him, not just stunlock him in a corner.

    I don't understand how poise really works. Sometimes I hit enemies and they stagger, but other times they just tank the hits. Even when I wait for them to deflect me as I attack them, they just ignore my hits and hit me instead. When I get hit, I can't dodge or roll either, you just get stuck and have to accept the death. Why does this happen?

    Game map not loading PC

    Has anyone ever had their game just not load the map as they're playing

    I don't watch speedruns so maybe it's because I'm going too fast for the game to catch up? I am on playthrough 4 so I am going quick

    Anyways sometimes it's just not VISUALLY there. But one time I actually fell thru the map and had to force close the game

    I reinstalled the game but it just happened to me again. Luckily resting fixed it which didn't work before the reinstall

    Just curious if any PC players have experienced this. I'm literally 3 trophies away from platinum and hope this isn't a game breaking bug

    I also noticed that loading has slowed SIGNIFICANTLY at the same time the in game maps stopped loading

    Any advice helps !!

    Is it worth farming for sen before the red armored guys show up?

    I'm wondering because there's a few things I want to buy, but watching a video I saw that the red armored guys drop 200 sen each when they die.

    That's crazy good money. Should I play up until the point where they show up? Right now I've defeated both Oniwa and Lady Butterfly, I'm most of the way through Ashina Castle.
