    Sekiro is clicking. Almost gave up 3 days ago. Now I can't stop playing. Someone somewhere on here mentioned that his friend told him you gotta "eat his ass" as opposed to playing defensive referring to every boss. I stopped being a pussy. It's working.

    Been absolutely loving this game so far, most bosses were hard but fair and fun.

    But good god this fucking guy, seems like every annoying aspect of bosses combined into one. The hitboxes of Ceaseless discharge and the giants from dark souls 2 mixed together, the tankyness of Midir and the dullness of Bed of chaos.

    I waited until after I beat him to not come off as too salty but this wasn't a fun experience at all, even after beating him it still didn't feel satisfying to do so.

    Sorry for the salt, great game, fuck this guy.

    Lady Butterfly Is Not So Easy

    So I read they patched the cheese method on Lady Butterfly. I started watching some YT videos and my Lady Butterfly and jumping around nonstop - throwing her limitless triple daggars

    I read attack, attack, dodge, dodge, circle try to her attack her back

    I know "git gud" but Im just getting schooled. I get close attack and I get the jumo up feath strike or she does the running death slash

    Any pointers? This game already feels 10 times harder than DS3. The levels are not long in sekiro and you seem to go mini boss, boss pretty quickly where DS3 the levels felt longer

    Return ending missed?

    Hi everyone,

    I am trying to complete all four endings (have just finished Shura) and I am wondering if I have missed out on one of the endings? I accidentally picked up the lotus immediately after killing the guardian ape and have not yet received kuro's special rice from the divine child. Will I still be able to progress to this ending after killing the Great Shinobi Owl or have I soft-locked myself from the return ending?

    Any help appreciated.

    Edit: Just defeated Owl and was able to get Kuro's rice afterwards. Cheers everyone

    What’s the most interesting thing you discovered in Sekiro?

    For me, it would be that Isshin's sword in the intro cutscene has a nearly identical design to the Black mortal blade, this isn't just in the intro either, it's the same in the Hanbei manga. The only difference between the two weapons is the color of the actual blade. No other blade with this design is seen anywhere else in the game.

    Holy shit is this game amazing. I started 3 days ago and I finished the game and holy shit was it a journey. I know it seems pretty quick for a first playthrough but I beat quite a few bosses pretty easy (I have been on some forums and I've seen so many players get stuck on some bosses for days) lady butterfly first try, genichiro 4th try, owl was probably one of the ones that took me the most at like 15. The snake eyes boss comes at second place though🤣

    The level design is phenomenal and the bosses all make you think and strategise, but a every fight just feels so fucking good. For example I beat headless ape by focusing on the brown ape by using the upgraded fire prosthetic tool and that DESTROYED his health and then easily dealt with the other one, just love the Arsenal you have and can use and how situational it is. I have to say for me this is BY FAR the hardest souls like game I have ever played. But the most enjoyable by far. I WISH this game had some DLC or that at some point it has a sequel or another game with the same style. Just so good man. Only downside for me is that sometimes some bosses/mini bosses/encounters seem to be made harder by just adding extra enemies which I don't exactly like, but there's always a way to bypass that. I seriously can't believe how good this game was. Sorry this is too long just wanted to share my own thoughts on the game.

    so this is my first time playing sekiro and i just got to the demon of hatred and i don't really know how to fight him. i would like some tips if you can leave them down in the comments. also how do you get to the final fight with Isshin? because i want to try to fight him too.     Finally!! I swear I was going to give up. Had genichiro and first phase down to a no hit run but 2nd and 3rd phase damn all I can say is praise the umbrella

    Genichiro is vanilla and easy, Isshin 1st phase is sober but I can go through it menacingly. But his second phase is something else, I literally hesitate all the time and keep myself in defense, I can't find any perfect time to be aggressive, he's always two steps ahead of me and always in the lead! What's the strategy against him? I feel like when I beat the second phase the 3rd phase would be easy with the lighting reverse technique
