Buy the Lilac Umbrella. They are piss easy after that. You don't even need divine confetti.

Flower viewing stage idol. If you clear the area behind it takes about two and half minutes for 10K XP don't think this is to bad lol

    How to Approach Sekiro?

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 01:35 PM PST

Hello! I'm getting back into Sekiro after two months hiatus, and I've reached Mibu Village.

I'm a Dark Souls master, and nothing in those games surprises me. However, in Sekiro, every enemy I encounter can eat 3/4 of my health, and I'm chugging my healing flask like there's no tomorrow. Am I missing something?

There's a lot of niche enemies and mini bosses that require special, equally niche strategies I'm not aware of. I'm very accustomed to the approach of hitting a bunch and dodging. I understand parrying to an extent, but at its core, I am unable to appreciate this game like I can appreciate Dark Souls.

What makes this game different from the other franchises? I can't put my finger on it. I'm struggling through each new area and making it through without really feeling like I "conquered" it.

    Sekiro: Addicts buy twice

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 10:09 PM PST

I'm sitting here on the fence considering buying Sekiro again. That game scratches an itch no other game I play can scratch. 2 weeks ago I lent my copy to a freind after I hit NG+6 and have regretted it ever since. I know the time she needs to really enjoy the game so I can't ask for it back yet. I secretly was kinda hoping she'd give up even though I encourage her like crazy.

Does anyone else find the combat in other games just slow and unresponsive after playing Sekiro? Soooo much so you'd consider buying it twice?
