This game made me fall in love with games again Posted: 08 Mar 2020 06:26 PM PDT Sekiro has probably forever changed the way I look at games. A lot of modern games shove in tired mechanics and try to pad out the length. This game cuts right through the bullshit is just pure fun and addiction, making a new experience and challenge I never thought I would look for in a game. I had tried dark souls before and just couldn't get into it. I picked up Sekiro because it looked really fun and different, and didn't put it down till I beat it, and beat it 2 more times too. Now I'm playing Bloodborne for the first time and it has become one of my favorite games. The mountains and struggles that these games make seems like something no other developer is doing and I couldn't be more happy. Now I'm looking forward to playing games again and all I need to know is, what will I be playing next? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Mar 2020 11:43 PM PDT This is the first From Software game I played. During my daily asshole spelunking that I received while playing, I found I ran out of swear words to use and creative ways to string them together and ultimately just grunted, groaned, gurgled and gasped upon every death, much like an asshole spelunking. It took me two days to beat Isshin, the Sword Saint and never felt so accomplished while playing a video game before. I'm now on NG+3. How did all of you fine individuals handle the frustration and of course... Should I get Bloodborne and Dark Souls? [link] [comments]

I almost had Sword Saint down, so close. Posted: 08 Mar 2020 08:46 PM PDT Just wanted to vent lol. Popped my rice ball in the last phase, was hitting the reversals and I accidentally jumped a thrust I was supposed to mikiri. You hate to see it. Oh well that's the farthest I've ever gotten so I'll be back at it tomorrow. [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Mar 2020 05:23 PM PDT Ohhhhh my god it feels so good. I've spent two straight days learning from every fight until it became so fluid. I learned you can attack between an enemies combos if the window is big enough. The Owl attacks, I block, then before he gets another swing I hit him back. You get him into a corner and he can't jump away, you can just combo him until he pulls a pellet from his ass. When I figured this out it was the BEST FEELING! Love this game. [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Mar 2020 11:41 AM PDT Played Sekiro with a buddy last night, and every time one of us died, we took a swig of Sake, and passed the controller. We got very drunk... but man it was a blast 😂 [link] [comments]

Latin (?) chanting in Sword Saint Isshin Ashina's theme Posted: 09 Mar 2020 12:07 AM PDT Think its a reach here but what bothers me was that, which took me by surprise. I don't know any connection of the boss in relation to European culture at all. Epic as it sounds I wouldn't count on it being mere gibberish. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Mar 2020 05:06 PM PDT The parameters for this abomination of a challenge run: -no prosthetic tools -no health and damage upgrades -no items other than the healing gourd and pellets -no skills and combat arts other than the ones associated with boss kills -no HUD -all bosses killed If anyone wants to attempt it, please do. I know i'll do this pretty soon. Addendum: -no kuro's charm -demon bell active [link] [comments]

How to fix the parry/combat skill mouse controls? Posted: 08 Mar 2020 09:45 PM PDT So i'm having a really hard time beating the last boss and part of it is due the controls. When i try to parry right after i've attacked my character instead uses the combat skill like if i had pressed both buttons simutaneoulsly. Is there any fix for this like a mod or it is what it is? Posted: 08 Mar 2020 09:43 PM PDT I can kick her ass really easily in phase 1 and 2 with ichi mongo double, but her last phase is kicking my butt. I almost had her but she hits hard! [link] [comments]
(Big Spoilers) I hate corrupted monk Posted: 08 Mar 2020 05:39 PM PDT I just got to fountain head palace and I've fought the corrupted monk three times. The fight was a cake walk each and every time until I would get it by the dumbass centipede attack that instantly give terror. It's horrible boss design, especially after the amazing Owl fight. I mean, an insta kill attack that gives the same signal as a sweep/stab, it's a load of horse shit. [link] [comments] |
