After playing Fallen Order I appreciate Sekiro so much more

It's insane how much smoother the combat is, fallen order has so much potential but they just squandered it with the clunky combat system imo. Anyone else felt the same?

After 88 hours of gameplay and 5 total playthroughs i finally joined the platinum club!! What an amazing journey I’ve had playing sekiro. Truly one of the best games I’ve ever played and one that really tested my skills to the limit! Def the hardest game I’ve played but i did it!

I finished the game yesterday and drew this today. Thoughts?

Sometimes because all the rage and sorrow that this game can pull out of us, we forget to appreciate this game as the piece of art it is. Sekiro’s world and lore is so beautiful and immaculately designed. Don’t forget to “stop and smell the roses” my fellow shinobi !

In case if anyone is wondering, killing the ninja by the antechamber idol is a good way of farming XP and sen come endgame. By the time you reach the end XP required to reach a skill point can be tedious and annoying. Killing this ninja gave me 6k XP each time.

    Just a rant about genichiro

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 10:37 PM PDT

I hate him and I've spent probably 4 hours on this fight today and have only made it to the second phase a couple times.

His stupid goddamn heavy attacks. I always do the wrong thing. I can't seem to out jump the sweep and I can't time his mikiri correctly. That's when I can tell which one is coming. I feel like if this was just 5% slower I'd be able to follow what's going on.

I'm really loving the setting and story of this game but I've hit a brick wall with him and I'd honestly pay someone to do the fight for me or tutor me through because this sucks.

It's the quarantine and I have nothing else to do so will probably keep trying tomorrow. Really just want to move on and do new stuff in this game. That's my rant for now, will update if I beat him.

    Genichiro - Attack Power 1 [NG+] - 13 Minutes fight

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 09:09 PM PDT

    Is NG+ harder or easier.

    Posted: 02 Apr 2020 04:25 PM PDT

This may be a stupid question but I don't normally do a NG+, I usually finish a game then move on. But I'm loving Sekiro so much and I want the plat, so I will have to do multiple playthroughs.

Is the game harder or easier? And if it's harder how much harder is it?
