How sekiro feels for game journalists

A Headless drawing I did for some different shading practice.

I died to this guy countless times and went to check out the guides online. Figured out that I never activated mikiri counter in the skill tree. Also never knew you could jump on people's heads. Whoops. How did I even get this far in the game lol

Anyone think there's potential for a sequel? *Spoilers*

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 07:54 PM PDT

I just finished the Dragon's Homecoming ending and while all the other endings are fairly self contained, this got me curious about whether they intentionally left open one of the endings in case they want to make a sequel.

With Kuro living on in the divine child and Wolf accompanying her in her journey to the West, that's an entire new world full of new technology to make prosthetics, new enemies to fight, and new folklore to adapt. It also shows that the quest is not over and there is still much fate left to fight. I also love the idea of using the grappling hook to scale a crumbling European castle and upgrading it to yank armoured soldiers off of ledges.

Obviously it's not on the near horizon, with Elden Ring being the big title at From right now, but I find it curious that Sekiro got no DLC at all despite it's success and wonder if plans for it got repurposed to start on the assets for a sequel instead.

So... am I doing awfully or is this normal??

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 07:49 PM PDT

Quite simply, I've gotten 3 notifications about dragon rot spreading to people that I haven't even "collected"/met yet! It feels that I am quite behind the curve enough that I am considering restarting. Is this normal or am I actually that bad?

If anyone if curious, I am stuck fighting some giant that's scared of fire and the boss of the estate in which some guy helps out with the battle.

    3 Down 2 to Go!

Why did this take me like 5 times while owl father took me 30+?

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 08:50 PM PDT

6 Months ago I played in a sekiro no damage tournament, I had a really bad run in finals w/ 7 damage but gave them a show on Isshin, heres how I finished him off. Enjoy.

How do i skip owl father?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 12:23 AM PDT

The one in Hirata. He is really annoying, so i rather go for a different ending that lose my temper.

What would you do to improve the game ?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 12:21 AM PDT

Don't know if this'd been done before, but here's my list: - add the ability to switch between 3 Combat Arts and 3 Ninjutsu techniques, just like Prosthetic Tools (the left and right side of the touchpad are still available). Pausing the game to switch them mid combat ruins the experience - training with Hanbei should be harder and shouldn't cost spirit emblems - offer Battle Memories to Buddha to revisit boss fights - add a "pouch" that store poison and lifestealing blood for bestowal ninjutsu. Also fire effect should be longer - PHOTO MODE (it was planned to be in the game but them scrapped apparently)

Did I miss my chance to eavesdrop on Emma and the Sculptor?

They were in the dilapidated temple, I traveled away to do other things and now she isn't there. Did I miss my chance?
