    I DID IT

I FUCKING BEAT SWORD SAINT ISSHIN (and his useless grandson Gaynichiro)

That was one of the best boss battles ever, up there with Gael, NK, O&S and Detlaff (I know that he is from Witcherverse but dont care). Cant wait to get the other endings and kill Owl (father).

    Have a nice day.

Almost deleted this game at lady butterfly and chained ogre. 80 hours later here I am. Wish me luck

Seven Ashina Spears is my least favourite mini boss. Today I got some sweet justice on him without taking damage.

It has been done, my fellow Shinobi's. My first platinum ever. Couldn't have picked a better game for it. :)

Nothing comes close to the feeling of overcoming these bosses

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 04:43 PM PDT

Finally, I have overcome the demon of hatred. Probably, one the hardest bosses I've had to overcome to date, been through all the souls games bar demons and bloodborne, since no ps since the 2. But this guy took me about 6 hours, over last night and today, with many a stress break.

But this feeling now I've done it is indescribable, the adrenaline dump in the last 1/3 of the last hp bar, I'm stil shaking. I couldn't leave it and take on the final bosses without putting this character to rest, and the final dialogue makes the struggle worth it.

Now to repeat the process all over again through the secret passage.

Who else thinks sekiro could have had had a awesome DLC like being able to use Genichiro lighting technique yourself or having the ability to equip your mortal blade as a normal weapon

Starting fresh new game vs NG+

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 09:26 PM PDT

Anyone starting completely over instead of going NG+? I am wondering which is harder?

I would be going NG+4. But I kind of wonder what a fresh playthrough would feel like.

    Sekiro journey to the west

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 08:21 PM PDT

Do you guys speculate that FROM will expand on the world of sekiro using the "return" ending as a starting point ? If so, what what do you speculate the journey to the west actually entails? I.e. what setting do you envision a potential sequel taking place in?

This is one of the two games of theirs (the other being dark souls) that I feel a sequel/series makes sense. There is a lot of unexplored territory in the sekiro verse, especially regarding the divine entities dwelling within it, so I think it'd be a waste for this game to a one and done like blood borne (which I feel is appropriately one and done).
