    I'm a souls veteran and just finally got sekiro im extremely discouraged at how insanely difficult this game is... i really need encouragement, tips, anything. I want to like this game, but its so hard that its starting to become incredibly unenjoyable for me

    I just cannot get the hang of this game. I haven't even fought a boss yet.

    I'm stuck on this MINI BOSS juzou the drunkard and get annihilated. He has killed me probably 20 times. Then in the FIRST level I fought some general dude. It took me almost 2 hours to kill him and he was a mini boss. I dont remember his name but its the guy right after the ogre.

    I try to parry attacks, but I get my poise broken because I'm not picture perfect in my timing

    The game is even more punishing than any if the soulsborne games when you die. In those games obviously you can recover your souls from where you died. 8n this game if you die, you just lose half your shit with no way to get it back.

    If you die a lot like I have, then everyone gets dragon rot and unseen aid is basically useless.

    I have played this game for about 4 hours now and haven't even reached a boss yet because i can't even beat the mini bosses.

    Then there's the regular mob enemies.

    If I try to be stealthy, and take everything out 1 by 1. But I somehow get spotted by an enemy and then I am ganked by like 10 other enemies. I dont even understand how I am seen sometimes, but next thing you know, I am seen and get swarmed.

    I cant even use any of the Shinobi tools because I can't even get regular combat down

    Then there is that NON MINI BOSS enemy in hirata estate that is guarding some treasure that I've comoletely just given up on at this point. Its some purple dude on top of this cliff. He is a regular enemy and I cant even make a dent in his poise before he 3 hit kills me

    I'm just so frustrated right now that I almost regret paying 60 dollars for this game. Like I really appreciate the change in formula and I'm not bad mouthing the game because I can tell its an amazing game, but its simply TOO difficult for me to even enjoy

    I'm used to high difficulty from previous from software games. Those games, especially bloodborne, were difficult, but they were fair. Like wirh the orphan of kos, he was a damn difficult boss, but i eventually would be able to figure out what to do and how to beat him. I mean shit, I've even beaten bloodborne on a BL4 character.

    But with this game, I even KNOW what to do, but I still can't even do it. I try to parry, I get either a massive poise loss, or successfully deflect an attack only for another one to come right in and i miss the defect. I get one of those unblockable attacks but it is such a fast attack that I can't even have enough time to process if its a sweep or a stab, so every time I see that symbol I just dodge away because I can't even do anything about it anyway

    Like this game is beyond difficult, its unbelievably punishing and I am not even having fun with it at this point.

    How can I get better at this game or what am I doing wrong. I've never given up on a game for being too hard, but this might be my first

    So I am at the point where I have just beaten Juzuo the drunkard and the general guy at the top of the steps and I need some help with the best bosses. How do u beat Lady Butterfly? Whenever she jumps up for an unblockable move I dodge but she tracks toward me and still one shots. The other boss that is real hard is the seven spears guy. How do u beat him?

    I'm on new game plus 3 and let me tell you. The guardian ape is hard as hell. Should I take the demon bell off or should I leave it on? I really like the demon bell on. It makes XP really good.
