Why is Mist Noble so hard?
This could be me, 50 hours and still on guardian ape
I just realised that if you stand on the branch next to the Vermilion Bridge and use the monocular, you can see Okami Shizu on the far side of the lake.
Completed the game for the first time
You sure do fight a lot of monkeys in this game.
Two shuras duking it out with no regen until Elden Ring is out - Day 3 (sloppy hidden tooth run)
After 105.8 hours, seeing this feels pretty god damn good.
It took me two years and 300 hours to beat Sekiro - James Bareham
After two weeks of daily practice, I defeated Sword Saint Isshin today. It was a great fight :)
I just notice that Drake Sword R2 (DS1) feels very similar to Dragon Flash (Sekiro). Makes sense since they are both "dragon related" stuff

If you understand the story, it's upsetting ! Felt Sorry for Robert and his loving father ��

Completed the game for the first time

After three days and 32 attempts, I finally beat Isshin, the Sword Saint. This was my second try with Sekiro; the first time, I could not get past the Great Shinobi Owl and gave up. Trying again was so worth it.

I am not particularly great at FromSoft games, but I play them anyway. I look stuff up all the time and still miss a bunch of stuff that I guess I'll have to get on the next playthrough. But the sense of relief, accomplishment, and joy at having actually beaten the final boss after learning the moveset was a deeply gratifying.

Thanks for helping a lurker learn to stick with it!

Owl (Father) Phase Two - How to Counter the Spells?

I should say that I can't always get to phase two yet, but I'm getting there more often. I'm getting annihilated when I get there though, because of the new spell-like attacks. They both force me to turn around and start running and I totally lose the rhythm of the fight. I'm surviving both the teleporting via an owl and the aoe flame blast only by turning my back completely and it's just not working.

Also, when do you heal? Most of my deaths are when I turn my back and run somewhere to try to sneak off a heal.

Don't know if it makes a difference but I'm using mortal draw to get him down so I don't have any spirit emblems by round two. Mortal draw still does good damage which I like, though I can't use the umbrella in round two if that helps.
