    Demon of hatred anyone?

I love this game so much

Is deflecting actually any harder than dodging in other Souls games?

    Posted: 21 Dec 2019 07:50 PM PST

I just found out you have 30 frames to deflect an attack in Sekiro. There are about 11iframes when you dodge in Bloodborne, yet personally I find deflecting to be much harder than I do dodging attacks in Bloodborne. I've beaten Sekiro once so it's not that I'm completely new to the game. Anyone know why this is? Does doing the block animation have more startup lag than dodging did in Bloodborne, or am I just more used to the dodging system (I have many many more hours in Souls and BB I just thought I'd be of comparable skill in deflecting after a full playthrough)

I just beat Sekiro. Holy shit.

    Posted: 21 Dec 2019 10:23 AM PST

    I mean, holy shit.

    What a cathartic experience.

I powered through most of the game with a few stalling points (Guardian Ape, O'Rin). I thought getting through the final boss would be a cake walk.

    NOPE.

I probably spent 5-6 hours on Genichiro/Isshin alone, likely longer. Once you get by Phase 1 of Isshin, it's easier.

Man. Some game. How enjoyable. As someone who played minimal Souls (I hated the design of Dark Souls 1), it wasn't as challenging as I thought it would be. But overall, excellent.

Not sure why I'm sharing. Just on a high, I guess.

    Hesitation is defeat.

    I made a mistake.

When you decide to choose between Kuro and Owl during the invasion, I accidentally chose Owl, and now I have to fight Isshin (already beat Emma) but I really don't want to do this. Is there any way to reload a save (didn't save game beforehand) on ps4? I've stopped playing for a while now, because I really don't want to continue with this storyline. Also, please no spoilers.

    Bought the game, loving it.

    Posted: 21 Dec 2019 01:40 PM PST

So, I just bought the game today and even though I'm not that far into the game (Second boss fight).

Got to say, I love the game. The graphics, fight style, story wise(so far) and the challenges are really good.

It's my first kind of game from, FromSoftware. The game really puts my patiences and anger at test sometimes but somehow that's also what keeps me playing (if that makes sense).

How did you find the game, did you finish it already?

Any tips and tricks are welcome!

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! I slayed the Demon of Hatred!!!

    Posted: 21 Dec 2019 10:44 PM PST

Suzaku's Lotus Umbrella throughout most of the fight and Malcontent's Ring in the last phase.

My nerves were on fire. I used up all my healing gourds and pellets and almost wrecked it in the end by position myself on a large bonfire, no pun intended. I was in a trance, the final deathblow caught me by surprise, too, I didn't even see the red glow it just happened. My heart was racing, I was the only person on this earth for about 10 seconds. 2 days I've been fighting this bastard and I'm so excited I had to share. I'm cracking open a 6 pack to celebrate. Nothing can ruin this night!!!

Has anyone been able to test if High Monk can reverse lightning?

I read it was possible in this thread but I haven't seen any other mention of it or any video of someone performing it.

Been playing Sekiro for the last week and so but man this game it's like BDSM but for gamers, not for everyone but if your into your into it. Gash darn I've been trash so many times and right now I'm at my rematch with owl I can't even reach his 2nd stage. I can't take this anymore I feel I can't go any further I'm not that skill, this is it for me someone stab with the mortal blade.

    Difficulty Jump from DS Trilogy

    Posted: 21 Dec 2019 07:56 PM PST

I just started this game today and have got my ass pounded all day. Do I get dragon rot from resurrection or just complete death? I don't know what it does.

I got to an area w a general mini boss before the horse riding spear boss guy and he killed me like 800 times.. then I got to the horse dude and died once and turned it off (props if you understand my description)

this is way harder than dark souls

    Just slayed Lady Butterfly

    Posted: 21 Dec 2019 11:31 PM PST

Our battle was like a dance of cranes, our swords clashing in a rhythm I could only fully feel after hours of punishing trial and error. When I finally plunged my swift blade and gave the butterfly the sweet embrace of death I felt like I was truly starting the path of the shinobi.
