    After getting your ass whooped at the start of the game, you enter NG+ and just absolutely wipe the floor with Genichiro. It's crazy how when you first start the game in he kills you in like 5 seconds but your second time around you dance around him like its nothing. Even though it doesn't change the outcome of anything, I thought it was neat that you get a slightly different cutscene for beating him.

    JUST FINISHED MY FIRST PLAYTHROUGH

    This was my first ever From Soft game and I absolutely loved it!

    I literally just completed my first playthrough (shura ending) and I can't wait to go back. The storytelling is captivating, the set pieces are STUNNING and the combat is rewarding. When I started this game I kept getting my ass handed to me by Shrek and Jinsuke Saze (the two mini-bosses/bosses that gave me the most trouble). I HATED this game and kept complaining to my friend about how "clunky" it felt at times. He assured me that this is how From Soft games test you (he's a DS3 vet) and make you appreciate and learn the mechanics of the game. The first genichiro fight was a major turning point for me. I learned how to properly deflect, how to time my use of prosthetics and most of all how to stop being overly aggressive and pick my moments wisely.

    I can't say thank you enough to the wonderful people on this sub who always had helpful advice and tips whenever I asked. Also shoutout to Sekiro Guru (tyrannicon), without him I'd probably still be stuck on Jinsuke.

    All in all I loved this game and I'm hurrying through this post to start playthrough number 2 right away!
