Posted: 14 May 2020 11:00 PM PDT Hi I know I'm late to this topic, but I just recently finished my NG+ run of the game. I've got to say, I have no idea why so many people complained about this game's difficulty. I am a very very average gamer in almost every genre and I truly believe anyone can play this game. I have never played any of the soulsbourne games until this one and was honestly super scared that I would be overwhelmed by its difficulty, but quite the opposite happened. This game rewards patience extremely well. I died to Isshin maybe 35 times on my first play through, but only 3 times on my NG+ run. It honestly frustrates me reading through old reddit posts of people refunding the game because it is "unfair." Everything about this game is so ridiculously fair it is unbelievable. Every action has a counter. The hard part isn't necessarily executing it, but rather learning when to execute. Sorry if this made no sense, I just wanted to let my thoughts out. Do you guys think any aspects of this game are "too hard?" [link] [comments]

Genichiro is like an endgame version of the archer you kill before Lady Butterfly Posted: 14 May 2020 10:41 PM PDT After 6 hours of going at this boss, Genichiro is such a pushover its not even funny. Isshin on the other hand, he's about to make me go hollow [link] [comments]

Over a year later, I FINALLY fucking did it! Posted: 14 May 2020 11:42 PM PDT Ik there are tons of these posts, and I apologize for filling up anyone's feed unnecessarily, but holy fuck I finally got that bastard SS Isshin and I needed somewhere to throw my excitement somewhere. I got my ass HANDED to me for weeks back when I originally played the game on my roommates system, but finally got the game for myself a couple weeks ago, and just powered through because I wanted to get put motherfucker down. Going back after knowing most of the game and having a better idea of what the correct way to play is from this sub (thanks team) felt awesome. I still am not great, but I only died double digits to Owl father and DoH, neither of which I had fought before so I had to basically learn them in their entirety. It felt so good getting back into it and actually feeling like I knew how to fight stuff, and the payoff at the very end was just so goddam satisfying. DoH had me wanting to pull my hair out a bit, it after finally eking our a win I decided that since I was feeling good I'd go straight to the Glock Saint, and having learned to play a little more disciplined the fight was a lot more fun than when I tried it before. Anyway, y'all are great and I'm so happy to finally have completed the game. Thanks to all the content creators who posted dope videos that gave me the itch to get back into it [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 May 2020 08:58 PM PDT So I platinumed last night and went on a shura route victory run. Dashing my way to the Corrupted Monk I decided to ignore O'Rin until about the other side of the bridge then I was like "fine let's do this". So my plan was to trap her in a corner and deflect lock her Snake Eyes style especially cause I hate her floating away. Lo and behold, she float yeets herself off a cliff and I get a hearty laugh for the next week. [link] [comments]
Fathers bell after defeating Isshin Posted: 14 May 2020 08:55 PM PDT I just beat the game for the first time and I wanted to return to the hirata estates so I could fight owl(father), but I never got the bell before finishing the game. Is it still possible to get the bell? [link] [comments] |
