Is this difficulty graph correct for y’all? It definitely was like this in my first playthrough, but i wanna get some feedback

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 07:34 PM PDT

This is like the best game ever

    Posted: 18 Aug 2020 08:17 PM PDT

Now i dont know what all the fuss about this game being overly difficult was but it is a giant learning curve for sure with the whole parry and posture system but i couldnt find this game difficult after my first 1 or 2 playthroughs

The main thing i love about this game is that you can just constantly get better i was on my 12th playthrough and just could not seem to beat any of the lone shadow bosses without cheesing them... but on my 13th playthrough and after a 1 week vacation (idk why i said that but i just wanted to throw that out there as well) i literally embarrassed all of the loneshadow bosses with no problem what so ever

Same with the seven ashina spears they were incredibly difficult for me at first but one day i just had that click you feel me

Now going back to the whole this game is way too difficult thing i already said some of it like you can always get so much better but the fact they give you resurrections and all these diffferent prosthetics and items you just progressively can get better

I was never ever able to beat owl i always had to cheese him (owl father and owl ashina) but on my 13th playthrough im not sure why but for some reason i was just able to fighr him normally with little to no problem

I am now on my 16th playthrough and also have a new save file going and have plans to do challenges in the future

And also with the new update coming out that is going to be amazing

I have no clue how elden ring will even come close to topping this (if it ever comes out that is) but vaatividya said that he thinks sekiro was a sort of testing ground for elden ring so they could test out a new combat style and everything and i really hope we dont go back to rolling all over the place

And if you read this far thank you so much you kinda like really didnt have to do that but thank you and if any of you are new players then i hope you can find a liking for this game as well

Once again thank you so much for reading all of this lol

    Ishin's tower backdoor

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 12:10 AM PDT

First time noob of Sekiro here. So yesterday I beat Genishiro and after making my way from Kuro to Ishin's guard tower, talking to all these lords, I explore downstairs of where he's sitting and kill the 3 nightjar waiting in ambush, then move up the stairs on the other side of the hallway, which leads to an empty room, seemingly no way out.

So I kind of start randomly hacking, destroying the furniture like the homicidal maniac I am when all of a sudden, I slash the painted "wall" in there to bits, revealing it to be no more a painted paper screen blocking a hallway. I get jumped by the two samurai who - together - almost manage to cut me to shreds. Turns out I was there before!? Makin my way up the up castle building to the fight with Genishiro?

My mind was blown... Anyway this might be common knowledge but I wanted to share with the group...
