I can't believe this shit man

Quick question; was Sekiro inspired by Blade of the Immortal? So many references between the two. I know Miyazaki loves taking inspirations but don't know if he officially stated that he took inspiration from a source material.

Inner Genichiro being able to counter your lightning reversal will always be one of my favorite moments in Sekiro.

    Finished Playthrough with 20 ATK

This run was done without Kuros charm as well. I wanted to basically invest in skill points that I considered essential for the run. The result was an unstoppable sekiro at the end game where I beat the last boss first try.

Skills that I found essential that I invested in:

    Shinobi arts-Whirlwind slash, a Shinobi's Karma:Body, a Shinobi's Karma:Mind, Mid-air Deflection , Mid-air Combat Art, Mikiri Counter

    Prosthetic Arts- Nil

Ashina Arts- Ichimonji, Ascending Carp, Descending Carp, Flowing Water

    Temple Arts- Nil

At the end of Fountainhead Palace I had 30 skill points saved up. Buy half the mask from Pot Noble with carp scales then return back to abandoned dungeon and purchase the other half for 5,000. Boost up your attack 6 times using skill points. Just wanted to share this awesome run.

Can I save owl (father) for later ?

I want to get the purification ending, but the dude is a freaking tank

Took me an hour to get him to phase 2. Wondering if I can fight some other bosses first and raise my attack power before coming back? Or is now the time I gotta beat him before progressing?

    Beginner question

    Posted: 18 Feb 2021 05:08 PM PST

Hey I just started playing the game ( loving it so far ) .... just have a quick question regarding some of the items I have picked up

    1. How do you successfully use the ceramic shards ? I try to throw them so the enemies will walk to the sound but it hasn't really worked ( also it's hard to really aim where I want them to go )

    2. Should I really try to use the fistful of ash to throw in front of my enemies or will this item be used for other things later? ... not really using them very effectively yet ... I seem to struggle with the timing and distance... or do I just throw it when I need to reset and get away ?

    3. Do using the Mibu wealth/possession balloons make a noticeable difference?

    4. Lastly ... if I have an item but it is not on my quick use menu can I pause the game mid fight and use it ?

Sry if this stuff is obvious or been asked a lot before and thanks in advance

Has anyone figured out a permanent fix for the controller/keyboard issue with Steam?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2021 11:06 PM PST

So I'm having the apparently common problem of my xbox one controller not working when I launch Sekiro, unless I unplug my keyboard first. Has anyone figured out a more permanent fix for this issue?

    Practice Parrying for charmless run

    Posted: 18 Feb 2021 07:11 PM PST

As the title says, I want to practice for a charmless run, and just to get as good as possible, do I just go through the game tons of times or is there a way to efficiently practice parrying? I can actually parry bosses pretty well and then a normal enemy shows up and their attacks are so slow I actually have a hard time parrying them. Thanks for any advice, and tell me if the flair is wrong.

    Help running sekiro?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2021 04:35 PM PST

I run sekiro on low settings and my specs are:

    Processor
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz

    Video Card
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

    Video Card #2
    Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

    RAM
    8.0 GB

But whenever I play, for some reason I get 10-18 fps on low settings at 1080p. I've even tried to run at 800 x 600 fps frames go up to 30 max. What can i do to improve game performance? power mode is on high performance I selected my GFX instead of CPU to run game. What can I do?

I finally beat sekiro!!!!! Now all souls family games are complete!!!!

    Posted: 18 Feb 2021 02:18 PM PST

    Hello all,

I am shaking with excitement now. After a few miserable days stuck on him I beat sword saint isshin and finally beat sekiro!!!! God damn this is a hard game. I am a long time souls fan and im counting all miyazaki works here (non armored core) so demon souls, dark souls 1-3, bloodborne, and now sekiro. By far sekiro was the hardest. All the others have more hard rpg elements so you can always grind more or gear more and eventually just head smash your way to a victory. Not sekiro. In the fullest example of the phrase you have to get good.

I got this game day 1. I was stuck on madam butterfly for like 2 months. I was stuck on the shit flinging ape for probably a year. This game is so hard yet I feel so much more accomplished than anything else I've done. I've done soul level 1 runs, I've done no bonefire runs, I one hit killed the final boss in dark souls 1. This is my greatest accomplishment and the adrenaline is surging!!!!

I probably screamed F you at the screen for a solid 4 minutes. I got so sick and tired of hearing HeSiTaTiOn Is DeFeAt. Now i'm going to go read a book or build a lego or something. I need a low adrenaline low cortisol activity for a week or two. Now I have beaten every soulsbornekiro game so far. I need elden ring now :D
